Why Era Art House…
I love the amount of time the word ‘Era’ holds. The idea of time being current and old. Modern and classic. Old things made new. New things waiting to be heirlooms. Healing. Promise. Vision. All these things are wrapped up in time.
An Era is a distinct period of time with a particular feature or characteristic. I feel it applies to art, creativity, personality, and possibly every individual’s lifetime. Maybe even multiple eras in each lifetime. Our own Era is who we are. It’s where we’ve been. It’s the history of our family. It’s where we’re going. Our Era is what we have to offer the world around us.
My hope is that Era Art House is a space to find inspiration, community, and time to get creative. Let’s make some stuff.
